Sáng 16-9, ông Trần Hoàng Quân – giám đốc Sở Xây dựng, đại diện sở trao số tiền 707 triệu đồng cho đại diện Ủy ban Mặt trận Tổ quốc Việt Nam TP.HCM để ủng hộ đồng bào bão, lũ phía Bắc do cơn bão số 3 (Yagi) gây ra.
Với tinh thần “TP.HCM cùng cả nước, vì cả nước”, “hỗ trợ cao nhất, nhanh nhất, kịp thời nhất đến tận tay các gia đình bị thiệt hại về người, tài sản do thiên tai” và hưởng ứng kêu gọi của Ủy ban Mặt trận Tổ quốc Việt Nam TP.HCM, Công đoàn viên chức TP, Sở Xây dựng đã tổ chức vận động công chức, viên chức, người lao động của sở ủng hộ.
Kết quả qua 2 đợt vận động trong 3 ngày, công chức, viên chức, người lao động của sở ủng hộ tổng cộng 707 triệu đồng cho đồng bào vùng bão, lũ.
“Có thể 1 tỉ đồng là nhiều với đóng góp của một cá nhân, nhưng cũng chỉ là hạt cát so với những thiệt hại mà đồng bào miền Bắc đang gánh chịu” – GS.TS Lê Ngọc Thạch chia sẻ.
